Our Mission
When an appliance flashes a cryptic code like E2 or F21, most people have no idea what it means — or whether it's worth calling a $120 service appointment to find out. ApplianceCodeBook exists to close that gap. We built a free, fast, mobile-friendly reference for the most common error codes across major appliance brands, written in plain English instead of technician jargon.
What We Do
Every page on this site breaks down a single error code into what it means, why it usually happens, what you can safely check yourself, and roughly what a repair should cost if you do need a technician. Our goal is simple: help you walk into that situation informed, whether you end up fixing it yourself in ten minutes or making a confident, well-informed call to a repair service.

Our content is compiled and structured using a combination of publicly available manufacturer documentation, common repair community knowledge, and editorial review.
